Welcome to Praise the Cube.

This is a short prototype designed to gauge interest on the mechanics of this game. Inside you will find a first person, dungeon crawling incremental game with puzzle elements.

You can pause by pressing P (fixes some mouse capturing shenanigans on the web build)

IMPORTANT: THE WEB BUILD HAS WORSE PERFORMANCE, BUT IS STILL FINE TO PLAY. YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF ON A BLACK SCREEN FOR 10 SECONDS OR SO. A DOWNLOADABLE VERSION IS AVAILABLE IF YOU WISH.

If you liked this game, please leave your feedback in the comments, and give us a follow :)

Hints:

The hungry orb eats quickly, if you don't fill it up, it'll always have room for more!

Unlocking the second resource unlocks new things to meditate on.

The shy button doesn't like being looked at, how could you find a way to not look at it, and still press it?

I jumped through the wall and keep falling

oh no! Could you let me know where? You can always press 'P' and get yourself unstuck if you wish to keep playing :)

I jumped from the beam over the abyss to the secret platform. It was a good jump towards the wall, but went straight through and fell down... eternally.

Cool game though, looking forward to updates.

Thank you for the kind words, I have fixed that wall you phased through!

Very fun game!!

Overall fun, but jumping is neither incremental nor puzzle.

Would you compromise and say jumping is exploration? :D

I think jumping could save the progress after a few jumps.

You left the hotkey for dev tools in with the upload.

That was intentional! People can cheat if they want :)

Ah, well very fun protoype nonetheless. Loved the aesthetic and music. The button puzzle was cute. Looking forward to more

Thanks, that means a lot :)

There's no way to exit the upgrade screen.

There's an X button at the top, or you can press escape :)

I have made the exit button larger for you.
